Cosmic Ghost Rider is actually the Punisher in a hypothetical future.
After witnessing the terrible things Thanos did, Ghost Rider decided to return to the past to kidnap the Mad Titan when he was still an infant to take away… for reeducation.
It wasn’t until the defeat that Cable told Rider that the Thanos he raised would later become… much worse than the original Thanos.
This was probably beyond Ghost Rider’s expectations, because he prevented Baby Thanos from killing people, as well as witnessed him killing.
… the other half is a desolate concentration camp, where those who oppose future Thanos are isolated from the peaceful world on this side.
Feeling defeated in stopping Thanos from massacres on Earth, Frank flew into a rage.
Unable to accept his peace at the expense of others’ blood, Frank turned his back on his son.
In anger, Thanos revealed that in the future, Cosmic Ghost Rider prevented Thanos from building a concentration camp for opponents – and Thanos himself killed his adoptive father in this clash.
Even if the Power Cosmic power source from Galactus is not enough to destroy Thanos, the Cosmic Ghost Rider still has another great move: The Look of Repentance.
But… Frank did not mention `look` – this made `penance` (`repentance`) almost a punishment, leading to Thanos’ death when his body was completely disintegrated by the move.
After witnessing that Thanos had become an even worse version than his original self, Cosmic Ghost Rider decided to bring the infant Thanos back to the past on the planet Titan, erasing the timeline where Thanos became.
Here, Rider met Death – who revealed to him that he was the reason why Thanos later killed.
