Speed of the game
In other card games, turns are symmetrical, meaning each person has 1 alternate turn of action.
Mana and Spell Mana
Like other strategy card games, battle with one mana and gradually add mana through each round.
The only big difference is that the extra mana can be carried over to later turns.
A maximum of 3 mana spells can be used at once – any mana above that level will not carry over to the next round.
Flexible in combat mechanism
In many other games of the same genre, only certain cards block damage dealt to your champions, but in Runeterra, any card can block incoming damage.
During the defense phase, players can choose which cards they want to use to block damage dealt to the Nexus.
To attack is the same, players choose which card they want to attack against the defender’s card.
Spell card
Spell cards in Legends of Runeterra work very similarly to other games of the same genre, but the difference is that spells in Legends of Runeterra are also divided at the speed of use.
There are 3 types of spell cards in Legends of Runeterra:
● Slow: Can only be used when not in combat mode, the opponent can counterattack it without any limitations.
● Fast: Used at any time, these cards can only be countered with Fast or Burst cards.
● Super Speed: Used immediately, the Burst spell has the fastest speed in the game and cannot be countered.
