According to China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two sides agreed to maintain high-level exchanges and bilateral consultations on Asia-Pacific issues, maritime issues and foreign policy.
Mr. Vuong Nghi is on a visit to Russia to discuss security and foreign policies with Russian officials.
The visit took place in the context of the US and its allies worrying about the increasingly close relationship between China and Russia while the conflict in Ukraine shows no signs of cooling down.
Regarding the current conflict in Ukraine, Beijing believes that the situation is becoming increasingly unpredictable and the only way to end this crisis is through diplomacy.
