Robert Browning is a man who specializes in hunting down cryptocurrency scammers.
Recently sharing with Bloomberg, the 52-year-old man from southern Indiana, USA, shared how he went from being scammed to being a scammer hunter.
Specifically, Browning became a victim of fraud on July 11 this year, when he participated in a cryptocurrency project called Altex.
At that time, he felt that he `could not swallow` this anger.
The unexpected incident made him decide to build and lead a team specializing in hunting electronic currencies with signs of fraud.
RugSeekers did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
`We are a professional, diligent and experienced team committed to helping eliminate fraud and corruption from the cryptocurrency space,` the team said on its website.
One cryptocurrency that Browning has been chasing is called `We Save Moon`.
Browning said he now spends most of his time looking for scams.
In fact, regulators in the US have also issued warnings about the lack of criminal management and oversight in the cryptocurrency sector.
“Currently, we do not have enough investor protection in cryptocurrency,” Mr. Gensler said in a speech to Congress.
Information about cryptocurrency, often called `virtual currency`, is not recognized by law in Vietnam.
