During the LPL All Star Weekend 2021 event recently held on December 11 (Vietnam time), awards were awarded by the LPL Organizing Committee to individuals and groups who have contributed to the Central League of Legends in the 2021 season.
At the present time, commentator Van Tung is one of the most prestigious and popular commentators at VCS.
Hello Van Tung, foreword, congratulations on receiving the 2021 Outstanding Overseas LPL Content Creation Award. Can Van Tung share with GameK readers his feelings when he learned he had been awarded the prize?
Actually, I was quite surprised and felt honored when I heard that I was selected.
As a Vietnamese commentator, can you share what motivated you to approach and stick with LPL?
LPL is developing very strongly in recent years and the appeal of the tournament is increasing with global audiences in general and Vietnam in particular.
In Vietnam, audiences are also very interested in LPL because of the presence of SofM, but there are not many quality channels specializing in LPL content.
LPL is a new area that has emerged recently.
As someone who knows a lot about the LPL, can you comment a little on the current transfer situation of the LPL, when the teams are still quite quiet while the end-of-season transfer market is nearing the end?
The teams all had their own plans.
When learning about the rumors surrounding the deals at LPL, has Van Tung identified which names will be the championship candidates for LPL Spring 2022?
Champions EDward Gaming retain their roster and they are still very strong contenders.
Is there any player or team that Van Tung expects will create a surprise in LPL 2022?
2021 is an unsuccessful year for SofM and I hope SofM and WBG will do something in 2022.
Returning to VCS, as one of the most famous and popular commentators today, can Van Tung share his feelings about the quality of the current VCS Winter 2021 tournament?
Actually, organizing the tournament outside the time frame compared to other major tournaments causes VCS Winter to encounter many problems related to the tournament server.
Many teams at VCS use young players, and they are not having really good results, including SGB – the runner-up team of Spring 2021. According to Van Tung, does our young player system have
I think the system of young Vietnamese players is gradually improving over time.
Compared to the young players of the LPL, currently playing in the LDL tournament or just reserve in the first team, how does Van Tung rate our young players?
I think our young players are at a pretty good level.
Last year was a year of absolute dominance for LPL.
I think both will continue to be the two strongest regions in the world competing directly with each other in 2022. Both regions have very strong teams ready to compete fairly with regional opponents.
Thank you commentator Van Tung for your recent sharing.
Thank you and hope you will continue to support Van Tung in the future.
